Our Model

Gratitude identifies visionary social impact organizations who are working with children and youth around the world, and provides them with the capacity-building resources to grow their organizations to impact 5-10 times more children or youth, in a scalable and sustainable way.

Gratitude operates on the concept of leverage. We rely on the generous and “grateful” giving of donors (individuals, families, corporations, and foundations) to fund our work.

The donors’ investment of time, talent, and financial support changes the trajectory of the lives of more children and youth than they could ever reach on their own.

How It Works

Each year, we conduct a global search for established social impact leaders who demonstrate an innovative business model serving children and youth. We know that these leaders and their teams are key to the organizations’ ability to grow and scale. Our support supercharges their leadership skills and leads to significant improvements in the lives of the young people they serve.

Out of thousands of applicants annually, we select around 30 to 40 of them to participate in a year-long program that includes leadership coaching, expert advising, and peer support.
