🌍 A Journey of Gratitude: Some leaders build classrooms. Others rebuild what it means to teach in them. 💡

Meet Jyoti Thyagarajan, Founder and Executive Trustee of Meghshala Trust and a 2018 Gratitude Network Fellow. 🌟

Jyoti saw a gap that too many students and teachers were living inside of every day, classrooms without the tools to make learning come alive. That gap didn’t discourage her; it became her mission. It taught her that transforming education doesn’t start with more resources; it starts with empowering the teachers already in the room.

Today she leads Meghshala Trust, an organization built on a simple but powerful belief: teachers working for teachers can change the future of a classroom. Megashala’s e-lessons, equip educators with ready-to-use, engaging content designed to make a difference for students and teachers alike.

Since her Fellowship, Jyoti has helped Meghshala grow in remarkable ways, reaching 8 states, 3,000 schools, and 11,000 teachers across India, with 9,000 lessons now available in English and vernacular languages.

Her leadership reminds us that transforming education doesn’t start with having every answer. It starts with trusting teachers to lead.

🌍 A Journey of Gratitude: Some leaders find their voice. Others spend a lifetime helping others find theirs.💡

Meet Christine O’Connell, Executive Director of Riley’s Way and a 2023 Gratitude Network Fellow. 🌟

Christine learned early on what it felt like to not have a voice. That experience didn’t discourage her, it became her compass. It taught her how to advocate for herself, and ultimately, how to spend her career advocating for others.

Today she leads Riley’s Way, an organization built on a simple but powerful belief: young people don’t need to wait for adulthood to lead with kindness. Its flagship program, Call For Kindness, is a year-long fellowship that invites high school and college students to launch a new idea — or grow an existing one — to make their community better.

Since becoming a Gratitude Network Fellow, Christine has helped Riley’s Way grow in remarkable ways from employee expansion to increases in students empowered thorugh the Call For Kindness.

Her leadership reminds us that advocacy doesn’t start with having all the answers. It starts with refusing to let anyone else feel unheard.

🌟 Celebrating our 2025 Fellows! 🌟
After thirteen months of dedication, our 33 Gratitude Network Fellows have completed their Fellowship — and what a journey it’s been. 🙌

Over the past year , each Fellow worked one-on-one with a dedicated executive leadership coach 🧭, moved through our scaling-up curriculum 📈, and grew alongside a global cohort of peers 🌍 who reminded one another that none of us does this work alone. They defined bold visions, sharpened their strategic direction, and built the internal systems that help an organization grow — all in service of one goal: deepening the impact they create for children and communities around the world. 🌱

On June 10, they brought it all together at our Fellowship Showcase 🎤, where each Fellow delivered a 5-minute pitch on their culminating work. The energy, courage, and clarity in those rooms were nothing short of inspiring. 💫

And while this marks the end of the formal Fellowship year, it’s far from goodbye. 🤝 Our Fellows are part of the Gratitude Network community for life — with continued access to programming, peer networking, and an invitation to join us at our Annual Summit. 💙

Congratulations to this remarkable cohort. 👏 We can’t wait to see where you go next.🚀
