Gratitude Coach and Fellow discussing Leadership Development Training

Shape the Leaders Who Change the World.

Gratitude Network Coaches are at the heart of the Fellowship experience. As a Coach, you work one-on-one with a globally nonprofit Fellow, selected from thousands of leaders for our program, to strengthen their leadership capability.

Coaching is consistently rated as one of the most valuable components of the Fellowship, with 91% of Fellows reporting satisfaction with their coaching experience and 94% reporting measurable growth in their leadership capability.

Our 70+ global Coaches are accomplished coaches, many with 20+ years of experience supporting leaders in various sectors.

The Impact of Coaching

“As a young Executive Director with less than two years of experience, my coach played a pivotal role in shaping my leadership journey — helping me build confidence, strike a healthy work-life balance, and master the art of prioritization.”

— 2024 Fellow, Rwanda

Coach Perspective

What Coaches Do

Gratitude Network Coaches provide personalized leadership coaching to Fellows over the course of a 13-month Fellowship year (June–June). This is not consulting or advising. It is transformational coaching focused on the leader themselves.

Coaches help Fellows:

  • Clarify and set strategic priorities — cutting through noise to identify what matters most
  • Strengthen leadership capability — building confidence, resilience, and self-awareness
  • Align teams with mission and strategy — creating accountability without bottlenecks
  • Make values-driven decisions — navigating complexity with clarity
  • Build for scale and sustainability — developing the organizational muscle to grow responsibly

Each Coach is carefully matched with one Fellow. An exploratory call takes place before the match is confirmed to ensure strong fit for both parties.
