Gratitude Fellow MindLeaps opens new center in Guinea, West Africa
Congratulations to our 2018 Fellow Rebecca Davis and the entire team at MindLeaps on the opening of their new center in Guinea West Africa.
Check out the video below for an upbeat look at the one year construction of MindLeaps 38,000 square foot center in Conakry, Guinea…and the first days of its opening in December 2022.
MindLeaps uses a dance-based methodology to develop cognitive skills and social-emotional learning in at risk-youth in order to facilitate entry into formal education.
They engage kids in fun yet rigorous dance classes that are part of a carefully crafted curriculum to develop the key cognitive and social-emotional skills vital to success in school and work. They also address youth unemployment through targeted entrepreneurship courses in the MindLeaps Virtual Academy.
