    Marketing & Community Manager

    Position Overview:

    The Marketing & Community Manager is responsible for developing and implementing all marketing campaigns and community programs to promote organizational growth through our community of followers, donors and network supporters. This includes oversight of all digital assets, content and budgets related to the website, social media, collateral, databases and technology integration as well as strengthening our global brand. The position also supports Gratitude’s CRM system to ensure we are actively engaging with our community.

    Key Responsibilities: 

    ·       Campaign Management: create integrated multi-platform (email, social media, video) marketing campaigns for fundraising, program announcements (applications, new cohort, etc), and PR, that drive attention and call-to-action (CTA); track and measure campaign success and measured results with dashboard reports

    ·       Content Strategy & Development: Create, produce and publish appropriate content targeted to key stakeholder groups including social media messaging, infographics, videos, press releases, website. Key areas of content development will highlight the work and activities of Gratitude Network and the impact our social entrepreneur Fellows and Alumni are having all over the world. This position will be involved in collecting impact data and stories in an efficient and effective manner and sharing with both Gratitude supporters and the general public.

    ·       Marketing Collateral: work with key stakeholders and creative resources to develop and oversee delivery of targeted marketing materials: datasheets, powerpoint presentations, annual report, advertisements, promotions and event materials. Work with Gratitude team to develop materials that convey the value of GN programs and the impact of our Fellows and Alums.

    ·       Website:  maintain, update and improve content as needed; increase traffic utilizing SEO and conversion pages and monitor results. Facilitate the creation of web tools (such as webforms) to share information, impact and stories in order to engage donors and GN fellows.

    ·       Event Promotion: Drive attendance for in-person (small and larger gatherings) and online events including creative development, promotion and follow-through

    ·       Technology Oversight:  Oversee and support key platforms for CRM, outreach and community engagement, including: Hubspot, Hopsie, Square, Eventbright, database integration and cleansing, forms management and other marketing related systems to ensure maximum ROI and data integrity to support our community.

    ·       Data Analytics and Reporting: Develop and report on key metrics related to campaign performance, social media, website growth, and conversion utilizing using tools such as Google analytics, SEO and conversion.


    Skills and Qualifications

    This individual will be able to quickly grasp our mission, brand, and purpose and design communications to grow our community of global leaders, donors and followers.   Ideal skills and background:

    ·       Ability to articulate brand identity and unique selling proposition (USP)and translate it into key marketing messaging

    ·       Demonstrated experience in exponentially building social media followings and online communities (particularly LinkedIn/professional market and Facebook/Instagram consumer markets)

    ·       Strong business writing and communication skills

    ·       Acumen and experience with charity fundraising and non-profit models

    ·       Proficiency in the following platforms is preferred:  Wordpress, Hubspot (or other CRM system), LinkedIn and other social media.

    Ideal CandidateWe’re looking for an individual with these traits:

    ·       Natural presenter with communication skills – upbeat personable, ability to attract new prospects to connect; strong communications skills on phone, Zoom, email and social media

    ·       Persuasion/Credibility – has enough “executive presence” (or enticing personality) to speak with high net worth individuals, corporate leaders and CEOs; friendliness is an important factor.

    ·       Initiative – put processes in place to regularly communicate with pipeline prospects

    ·       Team Player – enjoys connection and interaction with other team members; always ready and willing to assist (even when helping out is a bit outside stated “role”)
