Director, Coaching and Learning
Vicki Daughtry has more than 30 years of experience in coaching, mentoring, and leadership. While still an undergraduate student at San Diego State University, she began her career as a marketing writer at Square D, later working in defense as a technical writer, managing teams of technical writers for companies such as NCR and Qualcomm, and eventually managing teams of software consultants at IBM. Along the way she earned additional degrees in English and Project Management, and did post-graduate work in training and education. Running in parallel with her technical employment, she began a training and coaching career, initially teaching writing at National and Chapman Universities and later teaching project management, emotional intelligence, and other leadership courses for Learning Tree International. Her own consulting clients include those who need business process improvement, concierge coaching, and mentoring for newly promoted managers. She has a passion for helping businesses, their employees, and their clients succeed.
Vicki lives in Pleasanton, California, with a teenage grandson and his pet snake. She enjoys singing in her church choir, and is proud of the choir’s experience singing at Carnegie Hall in 2017. She loves international travel and has been on six continents. Other interests include cooking, reading, puzzles of all kinds, and long walks in the fresh air.
