Dear Friends:

In January 2017, Sergio Medina, the Founder and CEO of RISE, was selected as a member of our 2017 cohort of talented Fellows.  For Sergio, Rise, and thousands of refugee children around the world that was a life changing moment. After thoughtful evaluation by the Gratitude team he was paired with a coach and Sergio began a year-long journey of leadership development and organizational transformation.

In Sergio’s words, “I absolutely believe that The Gratitude Network and Scott (his Gratitude Coach) gave me the confidence, the strategy, and the wildly supportive network to help us achieve our potential.  You all really know how to pick organizations at their critical inflection point…”  Near the conclusion of Sergio’s award year, RISE was funded—and in a BIG way! Rise won an OpenIDEO competition award, which included funding by the Australian Government. This prestigious award is providing vital funding to hire a Chief Operating Officer and Technical Product Manager.  Rise will go to refugee camps in Kenya for a third and final pilot – and thereafter, scale globally.  The goal: helping millions of refugee children around the world deal with hardship, loss, and much worse…

The Gratitude Network is supporting dozens of social Fellows, like Sergio, in a way that changes their “trajectory of impact.”  With your help, our ultimate goal is to impact millions of children’s lives through this “leveraged” impact.

The Gratitude Network was founded in January 2012 and seeks out the world’s most dynamic and innovative social Fellows working on visionary initiatives impacting the lives of children and youth globally. Those that are selected as Fellows receive a 1‐year leadership development and organizational transformation program of intense coaching, expert input, and access to our ever growing Network, and their own peer cohort, to help them scale their business to achieve results of which they only dreamed. We accelerate the growth of high impact social Fellows, including both for‐profit-businesses and non-profit organizations, in these three critical areas under the large umbrella “Children and Youth”: Education, Health and Well Being, and Children’s Rights.

To date we have provided support to over 51 brilliant change-makers, like Sergio, working in over 30 countries around the world. This is where you come in.  You are a key component of the network.

By making a gift to The Gratitude Network you can help us!

We are pleased to announce a $25,000 dollar-for-dollar “Fifteen Days of Giving” Challenge Fund provided anonymously by two of our generous supporters. All proceeds from our first Annual Fund drive will underwrite our June Leadership Summit (bringing together our current and alumni Fellows for three days of learning, networking, and community building). And, just to offer some additional inspiration, please know your contribution will be matched dollar-for-dollar during the month of June!  And we have special gifts as a token of our gratitude for your generosity.

We are truly grateful for your loyal support, which has helped us to grow and enhance our impact each year. By working together with you, we help our Fellows expand their positive impact on more and more children’s lives around the world.

We couldn’t do it without you. Thanks in advance for considering how you can help us by making an unrestricted annual gift and being an integral part of our Network!
